Sunday 29th August 2010 - 14:00 to 16:00 and 17:00 to 19:00
Each course consists of 4 or 5 hours of intensive learning
and practising so that everyone is able to practice the Chi
Kung learnt for themselves.
Chi Kung Course GE
(5 Hours) Generating Energy
Flow
Generating an internal energy flow inside your body, which
sometimes manifests outwardly as chi flow movement, is the
most fundamental skill in chi kung. You will learn this skill
within the 5 hours of the course. You will also learn the
wonderful skills to relax, to focus your mind, and to open
your heart. The Shaolin Chi Kung patterns taught are aimed
to lead to good health, vitality, mental clarity and spiritual
joy.
Chi Kung Course CS
(4 Hours) Cosmic Shower
In this course you will learn how to focus your mind and tap
energy from the cosmos to enjoy an internal shower of energy.
The level of skill in this course is higher than in the previous
course. This cosmic shower will help to open your physical,
emotional, mental as well as spiritual blockages, to overcome
health problems, to revitalize your whole body, and to expand
your mind and spirit.
Chi Kung Course YJJ
(4 Hours) Yi
Jin Jing (Sinew Metamorphosis)
This is a further development of the "WOW" course
itself. Why the "WOW course"? Simply put, there
are only 2 reactions we have ever witnessed to this course:
"Huh? Was I supposed to feel something!" or "WOW!
Words fail me to describe this!" Not surprisingly, the
second (WOW) is by far the most common reaction. Whilst in
previous years, only one exercise has been taught, Sifu Wong
has now expanded this course to include up to 6 exercises.
The entire set comprises 12 exercises.
Yi Jin Jing is not just a set of Chi Kung exercises to develop
tendons and muscles, as some uninitiated persons believe,
nor is it a sutra. It is the essence of Shaolin Chi
Kung that develops tremendous internal force as well
as fast reflexes, mental freshness, courage, integrity and
righteousness. Those who have not been exposed to such high
level Chi Kung would never believe such an apparently simple
movement like flicking the fingers three times can bring such
fantastic and profound results.
With these exercises, you will be able to generate a lot
of internal force, which helps to overcome pain and illness,
to enhance daily work and play, to expand the mind and spirit,
and to experience cosmic awareness. Grandmaster Wong Kiew
Kit will initiate you into this advanced art to enable you
to enjoy these wonderful benefits.

Course TJQ
(18 Hours)
This course is for beginners, intermediate students
and masters of all Tai Chi Chuan and other martial
styles. The course will cover the basics including internal
force training, the most important principles of Tai Chi Chuan,
patterns, combat sequences and a practical set. All basic
forms and directions of attack and their respective defences
will be covered in this comprehensive course.
Wahnam Tai Chi Chuan is the Tai Chi Chuan that is taught
by Sifu Wong Kiew Kit and the certified Wahnam Tai Chi Chuan
instructors of the Shaolin Wahnam Institute, including Sifu
Andrew Banett and Sifu Roland Mastel of Shaolin Wahnam Switzerland.
This is Tai Chi Chuan as we sincerely believe it was trained
by past masters. This is based on Sifu Wong's profound understanding
of various Tai Chi Chuan Classics including works by Wu Yu
Xiang, Li Yu Yu, Wang Zong Yue, Zhang San Feng and others.
The Dao de Jing has also strongly influenced Wahnam Taijiquan.
Some of the hallmarks of Wahnam Tai Chi Chuan include:
- Wahnam Tai Chi Chuan is always qigong and always spiritual
cultivation
- Tai Chi Chuan principles including yin-yang harmony are
trained from the first lesson
- The importance of stance training (both Zhang Zhuang and
moving in stances) is emphasised
- A great deal of emphasis is placed on training internal
force
- The use of a comprehensive sparing methodology
- Tai Chi Chuan forms are seen as a means and not an end
- Tai Chi Chuan patterns are used not only in form practice
but also in sparing
